Shaped by the Winter

Another of my....sort of concept art? Here we have a Grey Warden with capital W, because she's from the great, feared and distant Weisshaupt Fortress. Not much of a cosy or charming place, if you remember the few words Riordan said on the matter, and this is not quite the lady with whom you would like to drink your afternoon tea. Veera Dellean is the name, by the way, and I hope you'll have a chance to see her again.....in a year or two....

Doing this was a long long long fun (booo, speedpainting is a distant dream of mine). I wanted to make the armour visually similar to the GW uniforms from DAII - with that amazing breast plate with (YAY!) griffons! xD

Notes: I finally discovered that custom brushes are the biggest fun. And the Snow White and the Huntsman OST I was listening to during the work was a great inspiration either!

Also I tried to learn from my mistakes and so I was very cautious not to over-shadow, over-lighten or over-saturate it. The result is not perfect but at least it won't burn up your eyes as the other things I've done sofar. And that's a huge step to better tomorrows, heee!
